There are a bunch of logic incs and I don't see any voltage regulator the relay coil is 12 volts . Also shows where the microphone connects to PCB. See attached picture of some catalog information from way back on these units. Velleman K2650 unit was made to actuate an on board power relay when it 'hears' a certain sequence rings from telephone is near.

It would be important to find original instruction sheet get these units work and what power supply connect. I have two of these boards - untested and one original plastic box. A whistle sequence. Though telephone technology has moved on I think these could be useful to select relay actuation from any audio source - e.
